Better to burn the candle...
You know, I just read probably what was the most inspiring thing in the world. While being bored, I decided to take a gander at News Radio 930 KWOC's website (one of the 3 stations I work for) and I looked at Rick Carl's, the Program Manager for KWOC, profile. In it, his favorite quote is noted "It's better to burn the candle at both ends than to never have your wick lit."
With my current work/school schedule, I found that quite enlightening. Sorry, but I just had to share that with you guys.
Also, in the KWOC newsletter that he gives to everyone in the station, he brought up a good topic. "Radio isn't your favorite song; it isn't that annoying commercial; it's the guy in the little box that reaches out and makes your day. We don't always see the people who's lives we touch." That's a really good point as well, one that I actually have a hard time comprehending, due to my relatively short stint in the business. I'm finally starting to realize that there are, believe it or not, people in existence out there who are listening to Bobby Wright (or Hunsaker, which ever you'd prefer). I just see a mic and a board; I can't see the audience.
Anyway, I just thought that stuff was pretty cool. Talk to you guys later.

I have a dark side? Schweet!
Subdue The Ignorant Masses What Anime Bad Boy Are You? Quiz 2 Hail Il Palazzo! Il Palazzo is the leader of a group of the Secret Ideal Organization Across. He's very suave, but arguably insane. He feels the population of the world is too corrupt and it is his duty to take over and and bring peace to "the ignorant masses". He is idolized by most women he comes in contact with, and has a fondness for playing video games, guitar, and dominoes. He is very intelligent, but easily corrupted by power.
Heh...Heil Meeeeeeeeeee!
