    Current mood: thankful

Please excuse a very proud mom
This morning we received a text message from Brusko's school directress. This is expected as I have expressed my need for financial assistance regarding Brusko's tuition next school year. She was requesting me to come drop by the school anytime today. I went asap as she might grant me a discount or an easier payment schedule. Pre-school tuition is soaring high every year. Good luck to future moms. ::sigh::

When I got there I was greeted by the caregiver and told me that I was expeceted by Teacher Mai (the school directress/owner). I went directly to her office, the last time I was there was when Brus was "na-opis" when he was stubborn in painting class when he demanded for another sheet of oslo paper with reasoning that his mom bought a lot and it is only right that he used everything for himself. Actually, I have observed that my son is a perfectionist, a Dragon trait. It all started when his painting got messed up for his standards. Because his teacher's standards says it's not messed up, but for his standards it is messed up. Anyway, he asked for a new sheet of oslo paper but his teacher did not provide him with one because his work was ok. Brus started to shout and tore his work saying "teacher, cant you see it is ugly. I made a mistake and I want to do it again!". His teacher said the magic words, "Go to the principal's office right now!". This is actually his second trip. The first one was when he defended me from a classmate, I wrote a post about it eons of posts away.

Anyway, here I was sitting in front of the school principal and she was smiling. I immediately narrated my purpose but she interrupted me and gave me an envelope. The letter goes...

    Dear Mr. and Mrs. Dacaimat,

Thnak you for choosing to entrust your child's education to The Playroom Child Development Center. We evaluated your son's academic performance for the school year 2004-2005 and we believe that he is eligible to be promoted to Prep level from the Nursery level. His accelaration will entitle you to a 50% discount on tution fee...

And the rest was blurry since I was literraly giggling and shouting. I felt like I was watching that milk TV commercial "Promil kid skipped Kinder..." balh, blah, blah.

    My son was accelerated! Yahoooo!!!!
