    pointless, meaningless...
We leave for Japan tomorrow night. By "we" I mean NFG and crew. I'm excited for it. I just want to get back up on stage and jam. It's hard to go from playing every night to doing nothing. Sure, we've been in the studio, but there's nothing like a live show. When I'm up on that stage, I feel like there are no worries. All my problems seem to go away. Plus, what can be better than seeing new places everyday? Granted, most of these places are seen through a bus window, but it's still cool to be able to say that I saw the worlds largest toothpick. So the fast pew days have been spent getting ready for the trip. We're doing the Summer Sonic tour. Also playing is Blink 182, Puddle of Mud, Hot Hot Heat, Travis, Blur, and a bunch of others. It's like The Warped Tour except in Japan. We're only playing two dates, then it's off to Australia to play three shows with Sum 41. I think after that we're heading back into the studio. I'm excited to get back onto the road, even though it's not really a tour.

Jordan says that I pack like a girl. I say that I don't. See, I bring everything. But it's not like I go through everything and can't decide what to bring, it's that I'm too lazy to pack, so I just take everything and throw it into some bags. From what I've heard, girls pack, and then unpack, and then pack again because they want to bring everything but want to leave stuff behind. It's a very strategic process, and the way I pack is pure laziness.

I saw Pirates of the Caribbean today. Good movie. I give it two thumbs up. The storyline was great, but the whole movie was just put together so well, the cast was great. Johnny Depp absolutely nailed his part. It was worth paying $9 to see, and then spend another $8 on popcorn and soda.

I'm going to end this update now because it's gotten to the point where I'm just rambling about nothing.

As the Germans would say, Bis später Auf Wiedersehen.
