Even hotter and out of power
The record has been broken again and the temp rises to 42 today. And finally it is the turn of my suburb to lose power. Can't stand the heat in the house, I decided to drive to the Mt Coo-Tha which is the highest place in Brisbane to enjoy some possible cool air. On the road to the peak I stopped at a petrol station to fill the tank of my car. The guy there told me that there are many people coming to his place asking to buy some candles. But actually it is very difficult to find candles in this area.
There were already some thunder and lightening when I left my home. And when I reached the lookout on the peak, I can finally watch the amazing view, with shinning city under and bright lightening in the far south. There are several people who have set up cameras trying to catch the beautiful moment when the sky and the earth was linked with that great power.
