The Answer Is
Feeling better today.
I know, we've been here before, but this is the way it goes: basically, so long as I do my physio exercises every day (and not much else), the knee becomes fairly strong and well-behaved. But as soon as I try to do anything else, such as go into the office, I find it harder to do the physio that day as the knee is feeling sore. That makes the knee weaker, so the more days I go into the office, the worse it gets, and creates a vicious circle whereby the knee becomes too weak to go into the office, so I have to stop and build the knee up again. It didn't help that I got into a bit of a funk in January after I was referred back to my GP and was not so strict with my exercises. (Not to mention being too knackered most days due to the stressful workload.) But I feel back on track now.
Unfortunately I don't think I can do much better than two days a week in the office, at least not for the foreseeable future. But it'll do for now and I'm not going to try to force things anymore. My primary aim is to be as strong as possible for the weekend after next (24-26), because we are going to see Rammstein on Friday (oh, yes, we are), then I'm going to try my luck with Stan Lee at the London Super Comic Con on the Saturday, followed by Geeke Trippage with Simon and Helen. It's a bit dodgy having two events back-to-back like this, but unfortunately the chances of seeing either Rammstein or Stan the Man again are very, very slim, so I am Going For It.
