    Mmmmm. . . goat cheese.
I had a really crappy night's sleep last night. I was tossing and turning and then at 2:45, I was almost ready for sleepage, and for no reason, all the smoke alarms in the house go off. So I was totally awake again. But it's ok. Cuz teaching today was easy, and I'm going shopping with Allison tonight, which I can actually afford to DO a little. And I counted up my hours for the week, and I'll be able to comfortably order my two pairs of La Ducas once I'm paid.
    The weekend is coming.
Saturday is the Comicon party. I'm excited cuz I never got to go before, but I'm 21 now, so I can go shmooze. In cute black clothing. I'll have to put some effort into my appearance.
So the kids I'm teaching are really cute, great kids. This is no quality production they're putting on, and Bugsy Malone is just an awful show. But the kids are cute. There are what like 40 of them? Mostly 6-9 years old, some up to 13-ish. I don't understand it at all, but little kids seem to really like me for some reason. The very first day, within an hour, I had 3 dangling from my arms and neck. They're not shy, kids. They want to sit with/on me. They want to "watch" me eat my sandwich. They get in fights over who gets to stand next to me. It's flattering, but I'm totally lost, cuz I wasn't really ever a babysitter or anything, and I had no younger siblings or anything. Oh, and another thing. It seems like these are the first two questions that they always ask (they're organized in their attacks, the little buggers):
    "What should we call you?"
    and then. . .
"Are you ticklish?" And then they all ATTACK. Which is not good, because I am indeed quite. . . sensitive, and you can't be vulnerable when you're dealing with 40 children. It's kind of embarrassing. I have to give them the evil eye. Which isn't convincing, since I apparently do not have an angry face. So they think I'm funny when I'm trying to look mad. C'est la vie.
