I wish turkey only cost a nickel!
Actually no, I don't. I generally hate Thanksgiving. Don't get me wrong the ideology behind it is nice but in reality it is nothing short of a load of bull. It's just an excuse for the already obese American population to chow down without limit for an entire weekend. I mean let's face it...there are always left overs.
Being home for Thanksgiving isn't the best thing in the world either. First of all, I am fucking bored out of my mind. I know, I know this is the time to hang out with my friends from high school that I don't get to see. News flash, if I don't make the effort to see you than chances are I don't want to see you. Really, most of my friends go to college in or around the city so we go out more than we did in high school. Everyone else I visit. Those that don't fit into either category - guess what?? I don't like you or we were never close.
So does that sound like a rant to you? Well, it is. It's aimed at all those people that called me over the past three days that wanted to hang out with whom I haven't spoken to (other than on-line) since the year began. Take a hint!!
