    and im 21 now
One year older but not much wiser, I must admit as I take my first wobbling steps into the so-called adult phase of my life. 21 years of age. May I survive the pressures and stigmas of this landmark year of my life so far.

Headed down to The Liquid Room last saturday which incidentally was the actual date of my birthday. I had initally booked a table for the night, or so I thought. However when I arrived and inquired, came a reply that caused some displeasure. Apparently, I did not make the said booking. A part of me wanted to storm off to the nearest internet cafe and print out the email which confirmed my booking with the guest relation manager. After some negotiations, they gave me a standing table instead of one with seats. Since most of the friends have arrived, I took the offer reluctantly.

Turns out some member of theirs have a 'private function', which only meant taking up the tables in the club. Ok, money rules. See, I am never wrong with this point.

Nevertheless, had a great night. Unfortunately I didn't much to drink from the bottle of Absolut which I opened. Heh. Big thanks to all who turned up: Stephanie, Glory, Meisin, Stanley, Kaijie, Weijie, Chongming, Siong, Zhipeng, Gloria, Nicholas, Michelle(woops bout the chocs), Whai Kit, Nicole & Mark(feel bad bout the cover and lack of hosting on my part), Yao Kun and Ben.

Oh, and not forgetting the presents. Simply lovely, functional and useful they are!

The annual steamboat cum Chinese New Year gathering at secondary two form teacher's place turned out to be really nice as well. Got a swell surprise as the feb babies of 206 got presented with an awesome chocolate cake and presents as well. Haha! If I may breakaway from my cynical persona and say, "Awww, so sweet of them".

Other notable events over the past week will include an extremely lonely and pathetic Valentine's Day. I can deal with lonely bit as I have over the past er..4 years or so? But the pathetic bit, aye, totally sucked. Got duty that day, strike 1. Stayed till 2300hrs, strike 2. Got struck with flu, strike 3. Aye aye, misery never comes much closer than this. *theatrical wail*: Owww, and my heart is filled with an ocean of tears

Went down to MoS on the 15th, still nursing the flu, as Ben's pals from Australia were down for a visit. Neo and I went down together and met up eventually with Ben, someone whom I rather dislike from the office and the two asian aussies, Amanda (the pretty one) and Samantha (the sexy one). All in all, great times all around at MoS. The partymen sans Allan and the lovely ladies.

This pretty much wraps up the previous week or two. Had badminton yesterday, was rather bad due to the still effectual flu virus in me. Went about town, hoping to purchase a pair of shoes to replace the Globes and shortlisted two. Couldn't really make up my mind as the those on available might be replaced with new ones for the spring/summer season. Don't wanna end up feeling bummed, even though the new pair will last me for I reckon, a good 2 to 3 years.

I forsee an interesting week ahead. Mock exams coupled with a trade day visit to Asian Aerospace 2006. I've got an extra ticket though....don't know what to do with it leh. Quite unethical to sell it on ebay or yahoo auctions right? Sekali sell to terrorist how?! Wahhh.. jialat ah. Oh well...let's go find out who is free on Friday then.

    Till much later, ciao~
