HavenCo claimed to have established a secure colocation facility on Sealand, and that it had commenced operations as a data haven.
Ryan used to write to cypherpunks talking up this data-haven. Eventually Mongo told him that if it worked the US would soon deliver a cruise missile into the side of it.
I advised them to start pirate operations APstering anyone who looked sideways at them.
That suggestion was not followed up on.
Ryan Lackey left HavenCo under acrimonious circumstances.
