Fiji - what democracy?
The crap media, including the ABC, keep talking about some coup in Fiji that ' overthrew democracy'. Yet if there was a democracy in Fiji then M. Choudrey of the Labor Party would have been the democratically elected Prime Minister. The fact that he wasn't comes down to the racist Fiji constitution - compared widely to South Africas old apartheid - and so there was no coup against 'democracy'. There was a coup - first against the pirate Chris Speight - and then against a racist undemocratic regime with zero legitimacy that took over from the warlord Fijian/Australian Speight. Australia also preens postures and poses as a 'democracy' in spite of it being a Governor-generalate where at least two reasonably democratic governments have been summarily dismissed , and so it has little or no credibility when it critiques the Fiji Islands. It merely looks as ridiculous and cartoonish as the USA is these days.
