wow. i haven't update this thing in forever, at least not since jon made that porno of his, but i digress.

the summer's almost over and college is going to be my life once again. this summer's been probably one of my most productive ever, which is quite exciting. i participated in a REU (research experience for undergraduates), got money from it, and i'm still working on the paper (trying to finish characterizing the stuff) that will hopefully going to publication. i have no clue what journal it's going to be sent to. maybe advanced materials or something like that. i really dunno. i wish it would be angiewandte chemie or the journal of the american chemical society, but who am i kidding, the stuff i did wasn't that important.

asides from pretty much working 60+ hours a week in the lab, i got to hang out with several friends and made lots of new ones, which i'm very thankful for. leslie is still as awesome as ever, hanging out and chillen together, and just doing our usual Filipino goofyness. charise and i became better friends now, doing tons of stuff together, and even watching a porno together :x. it was really wierd, but meh, we were laughing like crazy. freesia is very cool too; i've been hearing so much bout this girl from leslie and charise, it was nice to hangout with her. also, i got to hangout with mary again (PACIFIC ISLANDER PRIDE!) and met a buncha coolio people through her. i wish i would've went to that crazy party last friday, but oh well..what ya gonna do? on an end note for those people..yay for them! they are my angels (ya know, like Charlie's Angels..cept this time it's Amado's angels, kekekekekeke)

let's see what else i did. i found out some people weren't really friends, but i shall not mention them anymore. it's a waste of time...yeah.

oh yeah, the journal (JUSE - The Journal of Undergraduate Science and Engineering), is going really well, and we're recruiting more schools, getting more people involved and everything. i'm kind of disappointed with some of the people (who i shall not name), but the rest of the staff is just great. asides from work at the REU, this project has been keeping me busy as crap, reviewing articles, editting them, and everything. oh well.

hrmm...ooh, i had my first summer fling. can't tell much, but um...yeah, the people who know should know already, cuz i know i told you.

now, the things i'm looking forward to this next school year...get to hangout with malina, tom, and the rest of the UT austin people. yay for that! i'm kinda curious to find out about my roommate, but i guess i'll be updating later whether he's a bastard or is completely cool. kyle, last year's roomie, was really cool and we got along; mad propz to kyle for dealing with my...quirks.
