So, today I woke up to the lovely sound of Mum screaming at Maggie. At 8 AM.

Obviously not being able to sleep because she won't stop, I rush upstairs to find out what's going on and apparently Maggie got out of her cage. She would have figured this out sooner had she done the responsible thing and checked on her the moment she got up rather than just going straight to the computer. But that's too much to ask.

Now, instead of calmly putting her into her small cage and fixing the play area so she can't get out again, she instead continues to scream and chase her around so that she's frightened out of her mind. Because she obviously wasn't seeing that she was terrorizing her bunny I said to her, "You need to calm down. You're scaring her. It's just going to make her harder to catch."

    Her reply?

    "I need to scare her!"

    Christ.

Later on in the day, I got a phone call from the technician who is going to fix my computer. As I tried to talk on the phone Sky wouldn't stop screaming. Instead of helping me out by quieting her down, Mum instead just added to the whole mess by constantly trying to interrupt me while I'm on the phone to remind me of petty details.
In case you don't know, Sky screams more when she hears Mum and knows she's not talking to her.

No need to wonder why I constantly feel stressed at home!
