umlout!
yeah 2 weeks and christmas and new years have gone by.

i got some great stuff. david bowie cd's, tom waits cd's, john lee hooker, the pixies, white stripes. pirates o' the caribbean dvd, and the 4 disc geek edition of two towers. socks (which i actually asked for), pink floyd calendar, the first three harry potter books (in hardcover!), and $50 to ragstock. (keep in mind this includes extended family as well) it was great.

and then of course there's what i got from jess. wonderful. a dvd rack, which helped clear off a shelf i wanted to clear, a blues compilation cd, and the best one, an 8x10 of when we were in michigan by these trees that were completely encased in ice right by the break rocks on the shore of lake superior. beautiful.

i've pretty much completely redone my room, and i think it looks amazing now. i'm not quite finished yet, but what's left are things i have to order offline, so they won't be in for a while.

classes are going well, i'm really looking forward to this semester. even with work. we had the first manager meeting of the semester tonight, and i finally got the chance i wanted to start moving up to the production manager spot for next year. i love the hands onness of the stage manager job, but i want to get to as many aspects of production as i can before i get out of here, so i'm really excited about this. jason's helping out too, and katrina's continuing her run as the top, showing us the ropes of what she had a crash course in last semester, and then handing off the torch when she graduates in may. i couldn't be happier with how this is working, because i always wanted to see more than one person doing those duties. i always thought it would make it run much smoother come gametime.
