Had a teenage riot at WARPED TOUR!
WARPED TOUR KICKED ASS! Gosh it was so much fun :D. I don't even know where to begin. Well I'll start from the beginning. Got to Warped at 12:00, waited in line till 1:00. We missed Yellowcard, they played at 12:30 :(, so that wasn't cool. Anywho as we got there we looked at the times and went back to the stage because The Starting Line was going to perform. They gave a great performance. Wooo was that fun, sort of. lol. No it was except for the whole mosh pit. Yeah Lori and I where so stupid to get in the middle of the crowd and get stuck in the mosh pit. I lost my shoes in there! I was pushing and shoving (sp?) everyone so I could get my shoes. Lori found one of them, haha she had a big ass right in front of her face when she got it. Then some chick was stepping on my other shoe so I pushed her so I could get it. Hehe, I'm so rough :P. We got some picks of The Starting Line, so that was good. They played great songs and were worth seeing. After there performance we went to the next stage to see MEST! Wooo that one rocked! I also got some pictures of Mest, most of Tony though ;). He has green hair *rawr*, lol. They played ALL my favorite songs, so yeah that rocked. Hrmm... what happened after that.... I think I'll just sum up everything I did it's hard to remember everything in order. I got autographs from Simple Plan! The Starting Line and Less Than Jake. Alright well I have to explain this. I got autographs from SP and gosh those guys are nice :). Really, especially Chuck. He's one cool dude ;D. Ahhh but Pierre! He's so hot! They all signed my poster. Lori said that one of them looked stoned but I didn't see it. Anywho, later on we lost my friends so as we were looking for them we happened to pass by the Simple Plan booth, and happened to see Pierre signing stuff and taking pictures :O! Yeah well you guess right, I GOT A PIC WITH HIM! hahaha yeah it was great. He's so nice. Then Lori got a picture with him and I forgot to rewind it and he's like "oh you forgot to rewind it" haha. I know I sound all teenie booper but hehe. Anyway, that was great. Hrmm... we also got autographs and pictures with The Starting Line. Really nice guys I tell ya. We also got some from Less Than Jake. Okay those guys are kind of assholes :\. Well only two of them... the sax player and the one with long hair. The sax player was all moody, he'd blow off everyone. I had to continously as for a picture of him and some other dude. The guy with the longer hair pissed me off. I wanted them to sign something for me but I didn't have anything and I wanted to buy a shirt so in order to do that I had to go to the other side of the booth and buy one but if I did that I'd lose my spot, so I saw these papers of Less Than Jake. So I asked my friend to pass me one and the guy heard me and got all of the papers and threw them to the back and started laughing :|. I was like "...okay...." and just look pictures and left. I thought that was pretty rude, but that's just me. Alright well let me talk about who I saw play. I saw a little bit of every one... hmm... I saw The Starting Line, Mest, The Ataris, Less Than Jake, Andrew W.K., Rancid, Thrice, Tsunami Bomb, The Used, Simple Plan, Suicide Machines, Dropkick Murphys, AFI, gosh it's hard to remember, it was just a bunch of bands. Simple Plan rocked! That was one of the greatest performances I had seen. I got front view for that show. Yeah I saw them perfectly and got lots of good pictures of them. Here's a qoute from Pierre "I don't ever EVER want you to fucking grow up!" hahaha. T'was cool. I could've gotten a guitar pick but this chick behind me caught it. Pierre also went crowd surfing. Grrr I wish I got in the middle of the stage for that. They played all of their great songs and gave an amazing show. Another performance you could've not have missed was THE USED! Seriously that was the greatest show I had EVER seen. I was right in the front, so again I could see perfectly. Those guys are hilarious. Wooo, so much fun! Bert did this funny Elvis dance, hahaha. He also crowd surfed. He got on top of amps that were on top of each other and blew kisses to some girl then did the "lick vagina" sign to her, haha. Then he jumped to the crowd. All you see is everyone running towards him. They played GREAT. I got lots of pictures of them. Oh oh oh! and of course of the cute blonde guy ;). It was cool 'cause most of the time he was at the other end of the stage opposite from me, but during on song we came to my side so I got to see him REALLY close so I got a picture of him. I didn't want to lose that oppurtunity. If any of you go to Warped don't miss The Used's performance. You'll regret it if you don't see it. Tsunami Bomb played great as well. Less Than Jake too. I couldn't believe they played "Al's War", it was cool that they did though. They also played "Look What Happened", another favorite of mine ;). They had this thing that would throw I believe t-shirts out to the crowd and at the end confedy (sp?) popped out of the stage. Good show I must say. The Ataris were great too. Oh yeah and when Rancid came on you wouldn't believe how big the crowd was. Everyone practically covered the whole venue. Wooo that kicked ass. You have to see them to if any of you go to Warped. Hmm... okay well I can't remember much anymore, all I have to see is... the whole being sun-burned, getting hit by crowd surfers, getting bruised, having feet that hurt like hell, being de-hydrated and sweaty was all WORTH IT!!! CAN'T WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR :D!
