Theft is easier than I thought
I forgot to mention this. We went to Target last night to pick up some stuff for people. Our bill came to nearly $100 and my stupid bank hadn't processed the check I deposited at the end of last week yet, so they declined my check card. We tried using it as a debit card and that got declined, too, so the cashier gave us a "suspended transaction" receipt and told us we could drop the cart of stuff at Guest Services and come back to pay for it later. Here's the kicker - Guest Services is just inside the front door past the security scanners. Since the cashier had already run everything through, the scanners didn't go off when we walked through. Our morals are the only thing that kept us from walking out of that store with $100 of merchandise for free.
