    Moving Story
Too tragic, so I'll make it quick!

Did I mention earlier that the week before we moved our truck was broken into? and A computer stolen? My husbands work computer? well....thats only the beginning.

Things that went wrong with moving:

    1. The Penske rental place in NJ did not have the car trailer we needed, so we had to go to ANOTHER one and we got lost. Twice. On the way.

    2. MAJOR complications with clearing Military Post and housing, so we ended up throwing all of our stuff in the truck in like FOUR HOURS, and then leaving Fort Hamilton for good at 11 pm and driving to MARYLAND in HORRIFIC WEATHER and only getting 4 hours of sleep.

    3. Somewhere in the middle of Virginia on a Saturday finding out that our CHECKING ACCOUNT-- you know the one where we transferred like, EVERY PENNY WE HAD because of our fear of being on the road with out much access to savings--being FROZEN. WITH NO EXPLANATION.

    4. No one works at banks on Saturdays.

    5. After finding this out, we stop at Wal-mart to try to figure something out (OH WISDOM OF WAL-MART, SAVE US!) and are so distraught that we think, "Hey, I know what will make us feel better, lets LOCK THE KEYS IN THE TRUCK!!! AND THEN STAND OUT IN THE FREEZING COLD FOR TWO HOURS UNTIL SOMEONE COMES TO UNLOCK IT!!!"

    6. So, that's just what we did.

    7. We were saved by one thing: FREAKINGLY, Michael's Debit card accessed our savings account (mine certainly never has, but he lost his and got a new one.)

    8. Unfortunately, we only had 250.00 in savings...BECAUSE WE TRANSFERRED IT ALL INTO CHECKING!

    9. That was enough for gas, but not enough for a hotel, so......

    10. WE DROVE STRAIGHT FROM THE MIDDLE OF VA TO SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI IN ONE NIGHT! (all night--and it was MISERABLE).

Ok, so that wasn't short. But the good news is-- our house is coming along beautifully, its warm here, I have a great new job, and the dogs are so happy here. So, in a way, I guess it was worth it.
