I'm here, I'm here! After... it seems like the sixth, so.. after twenty-five days!!! I am on blurty again!! Look at how much I value journals!! Muahaha!! Am having trouble typing ! in. @ comes out instead. Naaarrgh.
And lookie (looky?) how much I have painted!! I actually have an Eian painting, too, but that's over in the drawer place. She's posing for a magazine-ish type of pose. With her leaning on a refrigerator and her foot on a safe. You money and food lover. Ironically, she has an abnormally high metabolism and no money during her younger (than now) years. .... ... .. . Hey!! She's not even in the following list!! Why am I ranting about her!!?
So, here they are: http://mangahuue.250free.com/Watercolor/Final.jpg http://mangahuue.250free.com/Watercolor/kiralin.jpg http://mangahuue.250free.com/Watercolor/Shpill.jpg http://mangahuue.250free.com/Watercolor/Merehana.jpg http://mangahuue.250free.com/Watercolor/Nan-by_Helen.jpg http://mangahuue.250free.com/Watercolor/Smiles_Much.jpg
The first four are weird colored, because I took their pictures in the shade, and they looked too dark. Then I used the sponge tool? on the compurter to brighten things up, so there's the outcome: ugly, luminescent, glowing, neon, unrealistic colors.
First one, obviously for our finals, and I like being idiotic. That's toooo much... and I still have more to do. The theme was to be 'time.' It can be the changing of the seasons, a tomato flower, a green tomato, a ripe tomato, a spaghetti, it can be a clock, what ever!!! Just show time!! With at least four sections! Mwaha! I'll show you the finished product.
Kiralin is: two keychains and the Laputa necklace (see it? At the upper right hand corner). Hehehe. I did that thing in about two classes. Less than. I was on turbo those days! We were supposed to mix colors on the palette, and then paint it onto the paper, but uh.. Sorry, I don't like that technique. It looks mixed enough! Wanna fight? Huh, huh?
Shpill........ Wet on wet. I hate this thing. I need to make the shadow darker, it doesn't look like a vile (or whatever it's called), the cork (it's a cork) won't fit, and look at the boredom background!! Shomeone help me!
Merehana = Mereth Hanabi. Hanabi means, literally, Flower Fire in Japanese. In other words, fireworks. We did a varugated (how do you spell that) wash, one-tone wash, and a valued-wash, and for the varu-varyu, we painted something over it. I drew Mereth looking up to the fireworks, because the watercolor ended up like that. What's up with your hand, Mereth!!??? Uh-huh. Hey, where'd the edge-shading one go? I did mine on the value wash!
Nan: by Helen is by Helen (duiiiiiiihhh), and we did a character swap, and drew each other's characters! Nan was the only person that I hadn't thought of a weapon for, and I needed to think of a circular weapon, because the strory's a colorwheel!!! I was thinking about the steering wheel on the ship, slinky (wha?), buoy... and Helen chose the buoy! Nan's going to buoy-attack you!! With the rubber duck!
Smiles_Much. Where's the smile? I don't know. She does smile more, usually. This is another extra one that I did. I started to want to make actual forms out of the swirly thingies, so I started to do this. What are you trying to do? Kill yourself!? Quite.. frankly.... No where near being done, and I'm making her stereotypical (though you can't tell yet)! Ah! That's what my 7 - 10 page essay is on!!!! (Senior Paper's nothing compared to this!) Yep. I've written two five page essays, two three page assignments, and now, a seven to ten page essay. In a span of six weeks (actually, we're in our fifth). We've taken ten quizzes, one mid-term, and we need to make a portfolio! With transition pages in-between the assignmets and essays, an intro, conclusion, a definition sheet, and a cover!!! Wow, that's a lot! Guess what racial group I'm writing my stereotype essay on??? Native Americans!!! Pocahontas, the positive stereotype, the older Westerns, the negative stereotypes, and Smoke Signals! More accurate!! Yeeeeeeeeaaah.
It's a little unnerving when your feet don't touch the floor when you're at the bathroom. Hint-hint, DVC Art Department, hint-hint.
Our restaurant is open, finally, after four month minus one day!!! It looks a lot better, everything's new, shining, clean (the lights are absolutely gorgeous). We still don't have a lot of stuff on the walls, but they're going to come!!! Come eat!!! More spacious, more parking, more newer! Coooo~~~me, come, come, come.
Hey!! New icons!! All from the watercolor class!! Hee-hee. I had some fun with non-100 px x 100 px sizes. These are the best so far!! Very simple, but I swear they took over an hour. By the way, Eian's one says 'Fly me to the Moon.' Uh-huh.
