Watercolor piccies!
By the way, I have done some watercolor paintings. I like all of them, except for Maru, or Circle. Understandable, isn't it?
Well, here they are, and a question to ask! Look at the Beata_bw, and looking at only his (yes, his) face's shape, what race does he look like?????? In other words, ignore his hair! I want to be able to draw the difference between the races instead of making people look the same. I'll probably be the second (Yamashita Kazumi does this very well. She creates Tensai!! Yanagisawa Kyouju no Seikatsu (Genius!! Professor Yanagisawa's Lifestyle, and by the way, she herself is a genius, I think. So smart. You should read it if it's produced in the language you speak!) shoujo-mangaka to even try to distinguish between people. Naw, more than the second, but definitely in the minority.

The arm is one that I actually looked at, and we were supposed to use only five values, so it's not so smooth. The basic exercise. They had a manequin's (sp?) arm in the back closet, so I chose that as my simple, white object. The part lower than the elbow (don't know what it's called. Forearm?) is too dark, compared with the real thing.
Beata_bw, because I just wanted to see what it looked like. It makes it seem much more like an Asian, primarily Chinese, brush painting.
Beata_c, the real thing. By the by, I'm not finished. I should have asked that question up there once it was finished, huh? Doink-o to my head. THWAT!!!!! Oh so what!!! Hey! I just noticed that that's also my username! Wow, was I in a hurry when I signed up with Blurty! I really love how he tuned out, although it's too smooth to the sides of the eyes. I love you Beata!!! Why'd you have to die!!!!!???? Because I killed him! That's why!! Yes, he dies. So sad. He's supposed to be Native American, by the way. I don't want to say Indian, because he's not from India. American Indian? What? American Person Born in India? DAM + N YOU, COLUMBUS!! YOU SLAVE TRADER!!!! I still have no clue what they want to/should be called! I should have looked at a person's face. Oh, and my stories are all fantasy-based, so his clothes will be off from the real thing. Try not to, though. Again, I'm not done, so his clothes are incomplete!!! Majokko_Eian!! The first one that I did!!! All of these except for the arm was on free time, to get used to the brushes and paint and values and colors. I haven't said that yet, so... Anyways (I'm typing like I'm talking!), I love this one, too. A little doodle that I did on the materials list has been painted!! I wrote 'If someone's a witch in my characters, then that character is Eian!!! She looks so good in it! The towers are too light, but I wasn't used to paints yet. Then there's my trademark swirls on the moon. And the moon's so distorted.. Can't see that when you're painting. On the screen, you can. I love let-it-run/bleed painting techniques.
Maru. BLAH. In the beginning, I wanted to have that middle circle as a fortune teller's crystal ball, but it wasn't going to look anything like it; circles abroad! All kinds of circles!!! Lots of non-primary colors!! What a miracle!
If you've read HUNTER X HUNTER vol. 19, you've seen something familiar to this. You know I love angles (...No, I don't)! So I happened to love the part where Nepheltopi (my spelling; I know her/his name is Nephelpito) jumped to the outside of the nest, clinging (not the right word, but on the side) to the wall, looking over to where the lines meet, right before springing to the three. Uh-huh. But me? After I did this much, I said 'Next!!' It doesn't look like anything.
I didn't look at anything (except for the arm), so weird parts are everywhere.
