Hi, I just joined. Heres a sample of my poetry. I do a lot of free verse, and most of the time acompany it with pictures (one of my hobbies is photography). Please make comments on my poetry, I love input. Thank you.

    Identity

    who are you?
    More than a name,
    More than a label,
    More than a look.

    personality is a Mixture
    between drab grey pebbles,
    and beautiful gemstones

is it the gemstones that define who you are?
    or the pebbles?
or is it the mix that defines out True self?

    what makes a true self?
    how You think you are?
    or how others percieve you?
or is it somewhere in netween?
amongst the Mix of pebbles and gemstones.

    the pebbles are
    drab

    dreary

    dull

    dismal

    depressing
    gemstaones are
    remarkable

    radiant

    regal

    romantic

    and rare

gemstones are hidden in some people,
    thought they have many
below the pebbles they hide them
and you must dig to find their Beauty

    Others have their few
but place them on the surface
    for all to see
and gaze at, and wonder at

    but Underneath

    the only thing

    You see are Pebbles

    in a world of Identity,
    Labels
    Cliques,
    Classes,
    and Ranks

No One Knows Where They Belong
    Or What Their Identity Is.
