Save Our Schools!
We watched a video in my sociology class today and it really pissed me off. The video was about school conditions in Ohio, but they chose that location because, conditions throughout the US are similar. I knew that a lot of schools were in bad shape, but I had no idea how bad they were, until I saw this video. I don't understand how we can spend millions and sometimes close to or even over billions of dollars on single bombs to kill people, but when it comes to our schools, the government just gives them hardly anything. The only schools that do get money, are usually those that are located in areas of people of wealth. Why can't we have equal education for all? I've said it a million times and I'll say it again, the government should pay completely for every child's education and fix up our schools, damnit! Stop fighting your goddamn; pointless wars and do something worthwhile for a change you bastards! If I can get a break next week, I'm going to start putting up a lot of posters about this around the campus because, we need to get something done about this right away.
