Lyublyu? Ya vas lyublyu. Ya vas lyublyu. What's it mean?
Well, This is what will be my first entry onto this semi-new web-log. It'll be nothing breathtaking, nor will the additional entries that will follow it. Just so you know. We're clear now, yeah? Great... Any way, Today is Friday the 13th, a lovely prelude to the wretched holiday that's known as "Valentine’s Day." I'm a little bitter, yes. As, of course, I have no one to spend this Hallmark holiday with. And really, any holiday loses its appeal when you feel alone and angry inside, even a Hallmark one. Last year, my Valentine's Day wasn't perfect. It was far from it, but at least I had someone. Well, sort of, any way. Needless to say, I felt loved and wanted, regardless of circumstances (which will remain mysterious to the select few involved). Getting back to the current year, I have no plans to do anything special this weekend, after-all why would I? It makes sense, so much so it's almost not worth mentioning. So, you can forget you even read it. That is, if you haven't already... Ah, the pleasures of writing, not something I'm really used to. As I barely write, save for a few Yahoo and AIM conversations, but you can't really call that writing in the truest sense, can you? I thought not. Switching gears, I watched The Great Escape yesterday. For those of you not versed in movies, it's an old 1960's WWII movie staring Steve McQueen (see IMDB.com for more information). A lot of the current crop of moviegoers couldn't sit through it. What without CGI, dazzling special effects, and a 100 million-dollar budget to back it up. What it did have was a nice soundtrack, and some good acting from a now mostly deceased line-up. Bottom line: worth the 2 3/4 hours I put into watching it. Well, Now, I feel this is a fairly good first entry. Located somewhere in all this gibberish, I hope you find it. I make you work for it, people. I'm a hard man. I know. Later...
