Who has your back?
HEY KIDS!
Been a while right? We are alive and well...thanks for the thoughts. We've been in and around Gallup for the most part. We're getting things ready for the coming winter and our annual hunting trip - yeah, hunting's one of our favorite things to do.
We have a show that we're throwing on November 11th that we'd like to invite you to...it's going to be at the Gallup Coffee shop in downtown Gallup. We're talking to some bands in the area to see if they'd like to jump on the bill.
We also have a possible show down in Phoenix on November 17th and we'll be speeding home to play another show down in Chichiltah NM (where's that?!) on Nov 18th. We're working on getting some more shows so hopefully we hit your area before the snow falls.
We worked on some songs last weekend that didn't come up oh-so-well so it's back to the drawing boards. Somewhere along the way we started sounding really 80s so we quit and went home...hahah. I think we were all tired but it made us realize that we have a lot of songs! So we're reworking the songs. We have about 15 new songs with lyrics already written but now we're working on the music portion.
Amounting to Nothing has some exciting things in store for the future it seems like...we've been working with a new guitarist, we've been talking to a label guy, our CDs are making their way to Nashville/California and we're getting our name thrown in for some big festivals. All of it sounds too good to be true so believe me when I say that we're just as skeptical as we are humbled.
You may see us in bright orange hunting gear in the next couple of weeks but not to worry...we're still on a mission to build a city on rock-n-roll.
