    Radio Programs
    Wolfman Jack

Wolfman Jack was a popular radio host for the young'uns in the 1960s. The station was XERP-AM and even though it was taped from Mexico, it could be heard all across the US. Wolfman Jack was provocative and non-conforming, which is just what the young people wanted and just what the older folk could not stand. His raspy voice singing the rythm & blues/ rock 'n' roll brought upon this persona of "Wolfman Jack".

In the 1960's, FM stations were becoming more popular. Also, television shows were taking place of the radio, such as American Bandstand.
