There are four types of accounts on Blurty: Early Adopter, Free, Paid and Permanent.
Early Adopter accounts were issued to all users who joined Blurty before April 17, 2003. These accounts have access to most of the features available on Blurty as a thank you for helping to start up the site. As such, this type of account is no longer available.
Free accounts are currently issued to all new Blurty members. These accounts are allowed fewer userpics and friends than other account types and lack certain other benefits, such as the ability to create custom styles, and are limited to 10 friends.
Paid accounts are not yet in use, but will offer all the functionality of Early Adopter accounts, plus some extras to be determined at the time. More information on this account type will be available at http://www.blurty.com/paidaccounts/ when they are instituted.
Permanent accounts are currently only given to those who have made significant contributions to the site or official communities like News (http://www.blurty.com/community/news/). Last Updated:
