like couple days ago my mom and i went to the mall cuz i sed i wanted to look at mac stuff. hehe (it was late so hardly anyone was at the mall and it was 30 mins before closing) so we got there all i wanted to check out was a blot powder and as i was talkin to the lady, i remembered there was the new tinted moisturizer and i asked her about it, she seemed so stoked that i knew about it haha. then my mom was looking at stuff (she always gives in to make up haha) and she liked the Mac Pigment colour powder (the limited addition one, Melon) and the lady showed her how to put it on and stuff (my mom likes this stuff but she's totally clueless to today's trends hehe) so i ended up checking out eyeshadows and lipglasses, i'm in liking towards Nymphette, and another one which i do not remember. i also checked out the e/s in Cranberry and Paradisco and thought that those 2 would be my next purchases when i have money again (flat broke at the moment). but anyways long story short. i/we ended up getting...
1. Blot powder
2. Tinted moisturizer
3. 2 nailpolishes (my mom likes colouring her nails)
4. 3 brushes
5. Pigment Colour powder (in Melon)
...there would've been a 6. but the sparkle liquid liner (don't remember the name) were all sold out. it was quite pretty though.
a BIG majority of the make up purchases will be used by me haha, i havent touched the pigment yet hopefully i will soon, i'm so excited haha. well that's my latest update with mac make up, might be back there in a matter of 2 or 1 week (there's a seminar/event going on, the lady who helped us invited us) If my mom comes maybe i'll persuade her to let me get [e/s] Cranberry and Paradisco. she thinks Cranberry is 'outrageous'... SADLY my mom doesnt know i like 'outrageous' colours. i'll even try a bright cyan blue or a canary yellow----man i'm bored

uh. I'm a complete makeup addict from TX and I tend to go for the wild colors (I just picked up the teal mascera last week, and tend to use silver eyeliner more than black). Favorite thing: Nymphette lipglass.

MAC's tinted moisturizer is now available at all counters, free standing stores, and the online site. I have this now *hehe* and its really nice, especially for the summer- only 22 smackaroos

does anyone kno wat color eye shawdow looks good with hazel eyes and fair skin with red undertones? ive tried a couple colors but theyve either made me look washed out or pale.

Summer is out! And it's hot as hell.. Lol.. I was wondering what the most perfect foundation/powder to use in the summer and moisterizer.. I mean I have oily/combinations skin.. And I need to reapply to make it look fresh.. I just need something that won't look cakey if I reapply it or when I sweat in front of the sun or something! So, yeah anyone care to help me out! That would be awesome

MAC is coming out w/ a tinted moisturizer this summer.. next month I do believe it will debut- in a full range of colors w/ SPF, perfect for summer.
All those who have a MAC counter and NORDSTROMS- there is going to be an international 'trend show' - showing the international makeup trends, and you'll also get to meet some of the makeup artists *ahem* yours truly.. and buy MAC PRO merchandise.. its going on from june13-17 (u havta book an appt w/ a 30.00 fee that is good 2wards any of the merchandise) at my nordies.. Im not sure the exact dates at anyone elses..

Hi,well this isn't a MAC Comestics question,its about tanning. I'm Black/Native American(faith evans-singer) complextion). And I need one of those self-tanners ,but have no clue what to get. I want a medium tan,I once was confused ,and used bronzers and didn't like the results. I can't afford to go to a tanning both right now,so I need a drugstore brand self-tanner.
I'm going to CVS soon this week and these are the brands I have to pick from :
Banana Boat Vita Skin Lotion Instant Sunless Light/Medium $9.99
Coppertone Oilfree Sunless Light/Medium
CVS Brand Sunless Light/Med or should I get Medium/Dark (:both $5.99)
Now the CVS Brand is cheaper,but It could be very low in quality. Those whole tanner process is new to me.
Also i purched Nars Body Shimmer(from Sephora),and I like the look but I want something more premanet for myself.

whats funny is that I was looking at the looks for it and I already to "angeldish" , unfourtunately I dont think i will be buying anything from this collection because I dont really see anything 'new' to me. Its still lovely though.
However I do plan on buying the splashproof lash in Teal and their e/l in Bordeauxline.

i got really bored at my homies house, so i just took a shower n shaved my arms. lol urr... does anyone wax / shave there fore-arms or am I the only strange exception. eek let me know im not a freak, n is shaving your arms a bad idea. That stupid hair was annoying me!

the release date is supposedly around the summer, but I hear it might be upped a bit to late spring, I dont think they will push it back, because if you take a look, its mostly summer tones. I'm not too sure if I will buy anything from this, im not too keen on shimmers, we'll see :

hmms i got the new 17 magazine and they had this nifty section about really good face lotions to use. they have listed ponds dry skin cream $3.99 for assa nighty creme then clearasil acne fighting facial $4.99 for assa acne-prone skin facial then neutrogena moisture SPF 15 $11.49 assa oil skin lotion n for combo skin they have neutrogena combination skin moisture oil free $11.49 heh felt like being an idiot n posting these crazzi cool finds toodles!

Recently I did a nice Natural Berry face on a friend of mine w/dark skin tone (caramel like)
Eyes
MAC cranberry (its a nice velvet cranberry colour, which is one of the most flattering shades for any skin tone), applied from lashes to above the crease a bit
soft black eyeliner- lined in inner rims, smudged
lashes curled two coats of black mascara -clinique natural glossy
cheeks
MAC sheer blush in tender love mixed w/the cranberry e/s a tad applied heavy (because its sheer and her skin tone is darker)
lips
plum lip liner- MAC
lipglass in 'oh baby' mixed w/ cranberry e/s
This look would also look good on med skin tones but ofcourse would be a tad more dramatic. For lighter/really fair tones this look would work also, but w/ a few variations
-instead of the black e/l use a choc brown
-black/brown mascara instead of black
-only the tenderlove blush
- lipglass in love child instead of oh baby- you could mix the cranberry shade if you wanted a more intense lip colour

can someone pleez tell me what to use for dry/pimple prone skin! ack. i have been using neautrogena yellow face wash lol forget what the CNN name was. but anywHoOz..it keeps the pimples away but no matter what moisturizer i use my face is so dry! its pissing me off. like my cheeks are dry and shit. so the makeup dont go over my face right..its weird. any sugg. thanx
