USE that to help you decide on what canidate you agree with the most.
1. Your ideal theoretical candidate. (100%)
2. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (70%)
3. Bush, President George W. - Republican (31%)
According to your answers, your political philosophy is centrist.
Centrists favor selective government intervention and emphasize practical solutions to current problems. They tend to keep an open mind on new issues. Many centrists feel that government serves as a check on excessive liberty
I read something the other day that has since opened my eyes and made me realize that I had no real basis for disliking bush or any of his decisions. How can you dislike someone, if you don't know anything about that person- or what they believe in?
I'm not sure of the thing I read, but it went something like this
"Most people dislike George Bush because of the situation in IRAQ. Most of the basis is on the fact that no weapons of mass destruction were found. But think of the good that has come out of the U.S being over there. Imagine how you would feel if you were an Iraqi living under Suddam Hussein. Yea, it appeared that a lot of people were pretty upset on your television- wanting the U.S out of their country, but a lot of those people were/are under a heavy daze. It's like a drug addict- if you take their drugs away, the only thing that they have known for so long, the only thing that seems normal to them- if that is taken away, of course they are going to want it back, of course they are going to be scared of what happens next. If the U.S would have invaded Iraq and not mentioned the weapons or even oil, there wouldn't have been such rage."
So I'm still unsure of what canidate I like/dislike, but I'm willing to learn any information that I can about them. I've heard that bush is very much against Gay Marriages, and abortion- I believe in both, but I'm not going to base my vote on just those two things.
Thanks for making a community such as this- and giving people a chance to get involved. ♥

Libertarians are self-governors in both personal and economic matters. They believe government's only purpose is to protect people from coercion and violence. They value individual responsibility, and tolerate economic and social diversity.
Your Personal Self-Government Score is 100%.
Your Economic Self-Government Score is 100%.
I am opening this new community in hopes I can get some members together to disscuss politics. So feel free to talk about anything involving politics, and to ask opinions on different subjects. I just ask that we all be aware that there are so many different views on politics, and try to minimize bashing each other. Also spread the word about this community, and it doesn't matter if you are libertarian or not, this is still our country.
