Hey all!
My name is Feronia, I am 18 and from the UK. I am here to advertise a Hogwarts RPG forum. HPU has been aroundsince April 2003, and in that time we have managed to build a community of over 130 (active) members. New posts are made daily, and the overall quality of the RP is very good. If you don't believe me just check the board!
We do not RP the charecters from the books, but instead give our members the oppertunity to RP with their own individual charecter. We also allow some special abilities, but these must be applied for and recorded. Please check the rules for more information. Staff positions are avalible, but we do prefer for members to RP as students for at least 2 weeks (making a good number of posts to show their ability) before applying for them.
HPU also runs an annual RP Quidditch Cup which begins on January 17th. Most places are filled, but a few members may be being removed from the teams due to inactivity and there are reserve places avaliable. Ravenclaw currently hold the cup, just beating Slytherin and Hufflepuff by 10 points! And this year we also have a Staff team!
I myself am Slytherin HOH and Deputy Headmistress at HPU, and am generally the b*tch of the site. Over all we do seem a little strict on some issues (such as the quality of RP, language, general behaviour, and MSers), but the majority of our members are great RPers and all who can keep up the standard do well.
I regret to inform all we can not accept members under the age of 13 due to legalities, but I am sure there is no one reading this that is under that age anyway!

My name is Kim, and I've been a Harry Potter fan since about the time the Fourth book came out. Sadly, I have not read the fifth book yet. ;.; I just haven't found the time, but I'll get to it soon. I've been RPing for a while, and I have a site that I co-maintain that needs SERIOUS members.

I love Harry Potter.. =) Especially the story in the 5th book.. I think it's Rowling's best work yet! ^_^;;

Hey ppl...i love the Harry Potter books and i also love Tome Felton!! haha...[and i do admitt jen...i did say that]..haha..happy now?! lol...ok well i'm gunna go because i'm tired and have to get up kinda early to clean so i could go out with eric and some other ppl! soo i'm gunna go now..!! I LOVE HARRY POTTER!! hahaha..ok well i'll post moer tomorrow or something..but i promise the next post will be longer and more harry potter related...bye bye!

Please lj-cut your entries if they contain spoilers of the books. Some people haven't finished the 5th book and don't want to know what happens in it. If you have any questioning about wether your posting has a spoiler or not .. then just lj-cut it. Also .. if you are posting a rumour that has anything to do with the 5th book .. PLEASE lj-cut it

Hello .. welcome to "Harry Potter Fans Communtity" lol. I don't really know to much about running a community so i might need a little help so for now im just kind of playing it "by ear" lol The only other person to join has been my friend suzie because i told her to .. so .. ya. lol.
well i think that this is going to be where we can talk about harry potter, give news, rumours, and make our own stories and stuff. I think we can start that more once we get more members .. so .. i think im going to end this now. i just need to try something
