im new to this community. just thought i would say hi!! and i have kind of a delema i was hoping to get some advice on. the majority of my friends are GLBT and latley it seems like just because they are all GLBT that i cant be straight and they wont leave me alone about it. its starting to drive me crazy! im straight!!! why can they get it. argh.

I think this is an awesome idea!
Me and my friend Emily were rather upset after reading an article about President's Bush views on Gay Marraige
We made posters to post all around our close minded city
And also started this store!

Please, you don't havve to get anything expensive, perhaps just some postcards
hell send them the president, or your senator, or something!

Please just check it out, and if yuou like it, send it to alot of people you know!

We need some bussiness before we can get more items.
you have to pay to get more items
And if we know there is an interest in the items, we will be willing to pay for more items!!

Yay!!! I'm so happy someone made this community!
It's about time! I was thinking of making one, but you beat me to it! ^.^

Well...
I live in a super duper homopobic, close minded city
(Grosse Pointe, Michigan)
It's a rich, snobby, stuck up city (Ick!)

I had never heard of a gay person, and didn't really know much about it
So of course when I found out my brother was, it was a big BIG shock!
My brother is like... my best friend
We have an amazing relationship, like no other siblings I know. I know people who are close to their siblings, but it's no where near me and my brother. He's amazing!

When he was a Junior (I was in 8th grade a belive... maybe 7th?)
He started getting depressed. He's not a depressed type of person AT ALL
And he stopped talking to me.. something that was very odd for me. He wouldn't tell me what was wrong
So me, being nosey, read one of his IM conversations one day, and found out he was Gay
It sent me sobbing

In my mind there was no time between that night of sobbing, and me accepting him
But my brother says that there was a bit of time, oh well *shrugs*

So I'm not a Sophmore
and I just ADORE my brother even more
I love all his gay friends, and all of my gay friends!
I've been to three pridefests, two in ferndale, and the big one in Lansing
Marched with my brother right up to the capitol!!

I love him so much
And support him 110% of the way
He's my role model, and I really look up to him.

Gay lifestyles are really hard...
And I give him, and so many others credit for dealing with the shit that goes on

I'm attempting to start a GSA at my school, and having a Day Of Silence *crosses fingers!!*

So yes,
I am a fag hag to a few
And quite proud of it!
I love my GBLT (Gay, Bi, Lesbian, Tri-gendered) friends!

I'm so glad to see other groups of like-minded people out there.
We are having the first-ever fag-hag float in the NYC 2003 Pride
March. I hope you will all be there in spirit with us.
We're also going to be incorporating as an official non-profit and
hope to start being active in the GLBT community. We plan to throw
fundraisers/benefits/parties that will aid local AIDS hospices,
diversity education and gay adoption legislation.

I am new to Blurty and I just joined the community today. I have five communities on live journal and I thought I would start two here as well. So I made a community for flamedames a community for girls who love boys who love boys. It's actually an idea for a magazine for fag hags and the boy's they love. I also started a community for gay_icons for all of those boy/boy, girl/gir, yaoi, yuri, qaf, will & grace icons.

This community looks like it will be great once it get's going. Huggs :)
