Alex layed down to rest due to her lack of sleep from earlier 'events' with Marik. Soon into her sleep, ALex started to whimper. "No...st-stop..."
~Flashback~
A young girl about the age of 6 was running away from a group of children in a deserted part of town. “Get back here, Alex! We’re not done with you yet!” The girl kept running keeping her eyes ahead, soon she tripped and was left easy target for the group.
“Why are you even running for Alex? You have nothing to live for. No one cares about you.” Alex looked up with tears starting to form in her eyes. “That’s not true.” She said in almost a whisper. “I have big brother.” The others started to laugh. “You think he wants to take care of a baby like you?”
Alex whimpered and closed her eyes as the others started to attack her. She tried to keep from screaming, but was unable when a knife made contact with her back numerous times and started making slashes.
Alex started to thrash where she was and started to whimper loudly.

Amunet smiled happily as Jouno took her hand and asked her opinions on today's activities. Immediately her mind wanted to respond automatically with 'Stay alive?' but this was not Marik or Set. This was Jouno. He didn't deserve her violent temper and rude come backs.
"We could head into town." Amunet said a smile spread across her rose red lips. They matched the rose that Jouno had placed in her hair only moment's before. "I should probably pick myself out a new dress since my current clothing is wearing through." The small Egyptian girl shook her shoulder a little and eyed a mended seam in her dress. Sure it was holding up, but if she were to continue the path of the sorceress' apprentice she could not very well be wandering around in such attire.

Pitter. Patter. Pitter. Patter.
Rain. A sure sign of fall. Nahiko watched the droplets fall from the edge of the store roof she had taken shelter under. The blue haired girl was soaked through. The cool rain shower had caught unexpectedly like a mouse in a mouse trap. Perhaps a little less fatal. Her rosy lips pushed out a sigh as a few pale fingers wiped away thick strands of blue from her flushed cheeks. Nahiko loved the rain, however she did not enjoy being stuck in it.
"Why me...?" The girl's voice was soft and sweet. Gently she gathered up a bit of her skirt and wrung out the water. "I can't wait here forever..." Nahiko whined a little and looked into the dark store window. Closed was printed in bold red letters hanging on the door.
The rain got heavier and the sky lit up with lightening.
"EEK!" Nahiko yelped and tried her best to huddle up to the glass window. "Kami-sama... save my soul!" She started chanting to herself over and over again. The chanting got quieter as the thunder got louder. Slowly Nahiko kneeled down and brought her knees up to her chest.

Sekhet just watched the three talk as she got up. "Ne, I have to go. Osiris will be wairy if i stay away to long" She kissed the Tomb robber's cheek before kissing him on the lips and moved away before he could respond to her. "See you later"
And with that she slipped away from the cave.

OOC: Yes...a mega long postie since I've written nothing in days..
The female spellcaster nodded at the Pharaoh. "I will give your message to the priestess. Excuse me now...I must go to her.." and so BMG left to find her mistress......
Mana had finished examining the outsides of the tomb when BMG returned and gave her the Pharaoh's message. "I will thank him personally later..." she said as BMG stood by her side and watch her turn her key into staff and summoned The Fly and The Move cards in combination, lifting the stone tablet into the air.
"Guide the tablet to the temple were all others spirit beast tablets are kept. Wait for me there," she ordered her spirit beast and watched her fly off into the horizon. The sun of the ancient lands was slowly beginning to set as the young priestess fought hard to keep her tears in control, for this was no time to break down, though deep inside, she felt a part of her was gone.
She climbed on to her horse and rode off, remember the words once her teacher and friend had told her: "Serenity comes easily in times of peace. In times of war, the soul shows it's true balance....."
(time warp)
Now at the stone temple, Mana concentrated her power to properly place the stone tablet near the other tablets commonly used by the Pharaoh. "As per thy wishes, Teacher-sama, thee has been placed next here to serve thy Pharaoh...." she spoke softly as the stone tablet took it's place.
She looked up at the stone tablets, feeling her eyes become watery. It seemed almost every memory of her begin taught by Mahaado had come at her. She shut her eyes tight and held back the tears.
Teacher-sama....Priest of the sand lands

Once when young, when she received the book of Clow, Mahaado had told her should anything happen to him, she would become the guardian of the cards. However, when least expected, said cards would choose to test her to prove her worthiness. The Clow...hid many secrets. She looked up at the stone tablet, the closed her eyes, giving two claps and a bow before turning and walking away.
Mana then left the temple of the stone tablets and headed towards the open area where she had left Kisara and Nepha training. Outside, she showed herself to calm but serious; she had to keep composure as hurt and sad as she felt at the moment.
The young priestess took a deep breath and kept thinking over the words her teacher had once told her. I wonder how Kisara is doing with summoning her inner energy....at the rate things are going, we will need her spirit beast very soon...

Alex nodded."Yes. Big brother might be getting worried." When they returned to the cave they saw Bakura where he was before. "Back, big brother. You didn't go out?" She questioned going from Marik's side to Bakura's, but from the corner of her eye she was still looking at him.

"I'm sure everything will be fine." Amunet said placing a smile on her features, "Marik will move on and we can stay together. Forever..." The small girl kissed the advisor softly and then smiled sweetly. She knew that this was a love to last for years to come.

Marik noticed the girl get up and got to his feet.
"Com'on, before they move in." He snorted and put his arm around her again. Marik led the two of them out of the bar and back into the war desert air. "I guess we should head back then."
Purple orbs looked over at Alex as if questioning her and then looked away again.
"Com'on let's go."

"Not really." Marik said sending Miyeta away, "If I do it's usually for kicks, I haven't had to use it for one of my jobs yet. After all it hasn't been in my possession very long." The boy smiled, he was happy to see that Alex was so amazed with his little 'trick'.
