Holla to my first entry! I LOVE broadway, and ADORE broadway musicals.
My two claims:
"Purpose" from "Avenue Q"
and
"Shakalaka Baby" from Bombay Dreams
"Avenue Q" and "Bombay Dreams" are two of the newest musicals on broadway. "Avenue Q" has been a huge success, and the CD is absolutely wonderful (it's really a shame that I can only pick two songs...AQ has some GREAT tracks).
"Bombay Dreams" has recently released reviews, and is undergoing major revision. The soundtrack is quite horrible (the lyrics are absolutely wretched), but I'd like to show my support nonetheless (besides, "Shakalaka Baby" is the only decent track on the CD).
Anyways, it's great to join!
