im on tri-sprintec( gyneric ortho tri cyclin) and i was on it for 8 days when i decided to have sex for the first time. he used a condom, but i started getting nauseous like literally that night. is that normal? i think im just paranoid about pregnancy.
and when should i expect my period?

Hey guys,
I know this site isn't really a "pregnancy site"...but I really need some advice. I have some questions and concerns. I just found out that I was pregnant...I took two pregnancy tests & they both came out positive. I was having these cramps for awhile & tender breasts...I couldn't remember when I started my period last month ... I know its around this time...so I could've already missed it or it should be coming within 5 days. Anyways, is it normal to feel like you may start your period...because i'm kinda cramping, but thats not really concerning me. Or, are pregnancy tests ever wrong? I took two of them & they said they're 99% accurate. Jeez, I don't know. I'm just kinda scared. I'm only 17...i'll be 18 by the time I have the baby...my boyfriend & I have been together for 3 years & hes there for me...but my parents don't like him. How am I supposed to tell my parents ... because I know its for the best to tell them...but they're gonna go crazy? I need some advice.

Hey guys...i'm new to this community...anyway...
I have a couple of problems. I'm not sure what it is. Alright, my boyfriend & I have been having sex for about 6 months or longer...and for the past month, we have regulary & then we did 2 days before my period...anyway, I just gotten off my period. It seemed shorter than usual. And, i'm having one symptom of a uti/bladder infection...it's where I feel uncomfortable down there (and if you had a bladder infection, you know what I mean)...and tonight, I was about ready to take a shower & I noticed a couple drops off blood on my underwear & it was the odor of normal blood...not period blood, just like body blood, lol. So, I was just considered why it's doing that? Has this happend to any of you all before?

hi im stephanie, i'm new in the community.. i'm sorry if this was already posted but has anyone in here ever taken the Plan B pill? i had sex december 20th, i just got over my period. the condom broke. the next day i took the Plan B pill. a week later, i had bloody discharge for about 5 days. it's already January 20th and i never got my period. i took a pregnancy test last week it said i wasn't. i'm still kinda nervouse, has anyone had these side effects?

Hi. I've been on estrostep for a year. I dont know if I gained any weight from the pill or if it was my lifestyle. I gained 12 lbs the whole year but havent been to the gym as much as I used to be. My doctor just switched me to ortho tri-cyclin lo and I've been reading lots of awful stuff about it. Im scared to gain any more weight. I heard the weight gain was awful as well as mood swings, depression and loss of sex drive. I've only been on it for 3 days. Does anyone have any success on this or should I get off of it and go on something else?

okay, so i don't even know if ne one ever looks at this anymore buuut..i have a question.
i'm taking Yaz and i'm on my second package. i just started taking the placebo pills today and yesterday was my last hormone pill. My boyfriend and i are sexually active so i ALWAYS take my pill at the right time. So i was slightly confused on why i got my period a day before i even started taking the placebo. when last month i barely got my period til the last two days. just wondering if anyone has any opinion about yaz, i really like it so far. i just want to know what to expect and if this is normal. thanks!

Okay, so I'm not sure if everyone does a little introduction or anything, but if you don't sorry, cuz here's mine.
My name's Kelly, I'll be 19 in about 6 weeks time, and I've been on the pill for nearly 4 years... mainly because I've been cursed with horrible periods. When I'm not on the pill, I have really bad cramps for about a week and a half, before and during my period, have 6 day periods where it's so heavy I'm afraid to move... and then it takes me 2 weeks to recover from that, and then the cramps start again... so yeah.. bad.. lol... I put up with it for a year before I went on the pill.
I don't really have a set time for taking it, I just make sure I always do it before I go to bed, which is roughly the same time every night anyway... and I haven't really had anything go wrong. A couple of months back I started getting very minor cramps, so I changed it, but the new pill made everything worse, so I changed back. And I'm extra vigilant since I started seeing my boyfriend and lost my virginity and everything, but he's a sweetheart and understands me being paranoid and making him wear condoms all the time.. better safe than sorry!

Hey, I was wondering if this has happened to any of the pill users when they first started?
I started taking the Birth Control Pill about two months ago; and I'm on my second package. When I was taking the pills for the first month or so, I forgot to take two pills at the normal time that I usually would, but I took them about three hours later; After doing this twice I noticed that I started to spot for a couple days. I know this is normal for new pill takers, and probably because I messed up the times a little bit. I have about a week or so left in my second package (before I hit the sugar pills), so my period isn't due until roughly next week. I've been taking the pills faithfully at the same time everyday since, but I started to spot again yesterday. Could I possibley be spotting if I'm taking the pills ten-twenty minutes later than I was before? (Due to daylight savings; I have to take them right when I get home from school, so i have to take them a bit later).
Ahem, sorry; I'm just wondering because this is really getting annoying.

Okay, so me and my boyfriend were fooling around a few days ago and he was fingering me while i was giving him a handjob, at the same time. There was pre-cum but i stopped almost right away, yes i know you can get pregnant even from pre-cum. He never did go in, but im just soooo stressed right now that i might be. I'm also worrying that because im worrying so much i might miss my period and stuff. My question though is; what do you think the chances are? It's only been about 3 days since this happened.

Hi, I'm new. My name's Ashley.
I just had a question -- I've heard all of the myths are far as having sex while you're on your period ranging from that's one of the only times you have a 100% chance of getting pregnant ... to that it's the only time you have a 0% chance of getting pregnant.
I was just wondering what's true about it.
Is there no risk of pregnancy while having sex during your period, or is it more risky??

i've been on depo. and it was horrrrrrrrrrrrible.
i'm pretty forgetful, but i'll suck it up if i have to turn to pills....
i'm on nothing now. eek.
and my husband SUCKS because he won't cooperate with the whole condom thing.

Hi Everyone-
I'm new to the community. My name is Kristin and i'll be 19 this Saturday. I have been using Depo Provera injections for a little over a year- since January 2005. A few weeks ago, I started feeling kind of nauseous and i'm not trying to be gross, but having diahrrea and stuff. I figured I had just picked up a stomach bug. Those symptoms subsided after about 3 or 4 days and I thought I was getting better. I had gone to the DR just in case because my little nephew had just gotten over strep throat and his had started with the same symptoms.( stomach problems) I was given the strep swab test and it came back negative, but the dr did say my throat seemed red and said there appeared to be a little fluid in one of me ears. She said i may have had an infection that my body had been fighting off on it's own and that could have been making me feel bad. She also said some of my symptoms were those of mono, but no blood was drawn to verify whether it was or was not mono. I had it once when i was about 11 and i never experienced any stomach symptoms. At the appt, my urine was never tested so I guess the DR wasn't too concerned that it could be pregnancy? Anyway-a few days after the stomach symptoms had gone away, I started bleeding some. Not heavy, not very light-maybe just a little lighter than a normal period...it lasted for about a week-maybe a little more. The thing is I normally haven't been bleeding since I started getting the shots regularly...I normally do start bleeding or spotting some when it gets close to time for the next injection, but I still have a little less than a month before my window of time opens for another shot. I bought a home pregnancy test the day before I had gone to the DR and it was clearly negative. I am NEVER late to get the shot-i stay on top of it as if my life depended on getting that injection every 3 months! My boyfriend also never ejaculates inside of me without a condom. We often fool around awhile without a condom before he gets ready to ejaculate and I know there's still a risk with pre-ejac, but I felt comfortable enough since I am also using the depo. I guess my point is could illness or stress have caused me to have had the bleeding? I have begun having signs of infection again a few days ago-cold-like symptoms: cough, stuffy/runny nose, coughing up yellow mucous. So I was given an antibiotic(amoxicillin) and I am beginning to feel a little better. I don't really feel nauseous or anything, but i dont have a very good appetite(probably just due to not feeling well?)...I have been urinating just slightly more than what I would say is normal for me, but then again I have been taking in more fluids since I am sick. I really dont seem to have any typical signs of pregnancy now...it just made me wonder when I started bleeding...has anyone else on depo had bleeding come on with illness or stress like that-i mean normally doesnt stress DELAY a period?? Sorry this was so incredibly long, but I wanted to give the whole story so you would know exactly what was going on! :)Thanks a bunch!
